With that in mind, I'm just going to work backwards starting from August 25 and work it up til today which is September 3. Mainly to get through the days with the least amount of photos out of the way. Oh and of course I'm skipping days. Not everyday of my life is worth posting. Just bear with me please.
I honestly can't remember too much about this day to be honest. xD I just know we (as in Suzuki, my mother, and I) were out and about. I only wanted to really remember how funny it was when we ran out of the house real quick to get dinner before an anime was about to play on TV.
We headed out to go try get some food off of this restaurant near our house called, "Aiea Bowl." Heard from an Aunt (who is not blood-related but we consider her family) that the food was really good there.
It turned out that the restaurant was crowded and the menu wasn't all that great. Plus the restaurant was supposed to close in about half an hour that we got there so we didn't bother sticking around.
But before we left, we saw this TV:
It was playing the channel we were watching for our anime. xD We seriously considered if we should just come back another Saturday and hog up a booth that had a perfect view to the screen.
But other than that, this day wasn't much memorable haha.
8-26-12
Suzuki and I woke up suuuuper early so our mom could take us to Starbucks. There's one like really close to our apartment so we didn't have to wake up early BUT because it was a Sunday and we actually had planned to go to the beach... we all decided to wake up early.
Now, we had to go to Starbucks to complete our online homework for college.
But there were difficulties and our Instructor did tell us to call this number to get help but they weren't picking up either soooo we raged quit lol. We re-assured our mom that we would try later in the day when we had to go back to our grandmother's. (Yeah. Our living arrangements now changed because of college.)
So once we stepped outside, the clouds looked blleeeeeggghhh.
And we all agreed to try next week. I didn't want to admit how bummed I was. orz
Although, my mood got better when our mom suggested we eat Hawaiian food instead. That always cheers me up. xD

And yes. We can bring in outside drinks so I snapped a shot of my mom's drink. xD
I'm glad my family and close friends got used to me taking the most random pictures LOL.

Once we got home, we passed out. xD (I blame the Hawaiian blood in me for always making me tired after eating really good food haha... but of course I'm kidding... ) And that was pretty much the day~
8-27-12
This was a Monday so Suzuki and I had classes that day.
School is a whole lot more enjoyable now to be honest. Even Suzuki says the same. For me, I just didn't like high school. Not because of my close friends but because of the idiots, the usual drama, and having to wake up early everyday. It drove me nuts to the point where I actually felt super depressed and didn't want to go to school anymore (it was mostly from some drama that happened for all the stupid reasons and I didn't really talk to anybody about it because it was stupid). So in Senior year, I basically became someone who just wanted to get high school over with and stay close to the people who really made a positive change in my life. In the end, it worked out fine and I'm glad to put it behind me lol.
ANYWAY...
So this day was pretty chill. Not much to say since it was easy-going. xD

Ok. Here's the good stuff. I GOT TO WEAR MY RED PANTS.
In one of my previous entries, I mentioned that our grandmother took us shopping to use up the money that was supposed to be for our graduation party (which never happened lol but we all didn't mind). Suzuki and I persuaded her to let us have orange and red pants.
So that morning, I was changing and found my red pants on top of all my other pants in the drawer so I knew that day was gonna be the day to wear them. xD
And for some unusual reason... Whenever I wear something red (like a red shirt or something big and red), I get really active throughout the day. And I know this from experience. Something about the color that just gets me going... Eh. D:
Anyway, so I was pretty much having a great day even though there was nothing really significant about this day other than the red pants. xD I just claim this day to be significant since it's my first time actually wearing them haha.

We haven't seen her since Graduation so it had been a loooong time since we saw her. I was glad she was doing alright.
She was being cute when she saw us first. She actually jogged towards us and I felt bad that we just walked (we weren't reacting very well apparently). xD
Jade told us all about the university she attends. I was also very glad she made friends over there too. I still hope even now that she will pass her classes with ease. (She probably will though lol.)
But that was pretty much it for that day.
8-30-12
This day was the first time I actually went with my grandmother to pick up Suzuki from school. (I'm off on Thursdays that's why.)
I ALWAYS wake up right when Suzuki should be starting her class.
Then again, I wouldn't want to be still sleeping when Suzuki comes back home... She would probably get upset somehow...
But I decided to tag along with my grandmother this time (since she would always run out before I could even brush my hair). xD
Again, nothing significant but this:

Not sure what happened on this day so I'll just sum it up lol.
Our grandmother sometimes brings Lohi when she picks us up from school.

My grandpa went fishing with my uncle and caught just these two fishes.
They looked awesome despite the smell.

The start of a new month. Woo!
And remember earlier in this entry when Suzuki, my mom, and I all said we would try to go to the beach next week?
Well, we all kept that to heart. WE FINALLY GOT TO GO TO THE BEACH.
Although, we had to go to work with our mom in town (since the beach was right there) so we all woke up early and whatnot.
And while our mom had to work, Suzuki and I hanged out in the mall.
Of all the things we could be doing at the mall... we did our homework. xD
We just wanted to get rid of it before going to the beach so we tried to do everything.
There was this security guy walking around and he actually came up to me and asked if we were really doing our homework. We told him yes. He was suddenly praising us and saying that he couldn't believe that someone would actually be doing their homework in the morning... and on a Saturday. He was really friendly that it kind of freaked me out a bit. xD
He actually freaked me out enough to mess up on my own age.
I accidentally told him we were "17" (and we're 18) when he asked. I felt so stupid. Even Suzuki gave me a look when I said that and the security guy didn't give me time to correct myself lol. orz
But it was a funny mistake haha...
I took a lot of pictures so they can pretty much explain what happened throughout the day.

By the time we were almost done, our mom finished work so we didn't have to stress about doing homework later. xD
I didn't flat iron my hair for once so I was trying hard not to be overly self-conscious about it.
And I wore my power ranger shirt. /o\
(The security guy also liked it and we all find out that we preferred the old school seasons better than the latest ones lol.)

We ended up only being there for an hour but it was all fun and I felt super happy to finally be at the beach like I always wanted for months. xD (Suzuki was a little sad because she wanted to bring her inner tubes but we all agreed that next time we would.)
Afterwards, our mom ended up getting sunburned. She didn't put on sunscreen right away so she was suffering. D:

This day was Labor day! Plus, our mom's friend had invited her to come for a picnic so our mom brought us along too.
We ended up being on Kaimuki side so there was a big anime store there, Toys N' Joys. :D
But I'll just post up the pictures first lol.

Our mom was very surprised that we were willing to take the walk, but we never been on that side of the island in forever so going for a walk was something we all wanted to do.

And in case you're wondering... yeah. I do spend a lot of my time with my mom.
Despite her health issues, my mom tends to be alone a lot. Whenever we sleep at our grandmother's house, she has no one. I would rather devote my time to spend with her because she gave up so much for us. And if anything, she really deserves to be happy.
I just want to be her child that she can depend on, you know? No one should feel left out.
Anyway...
That's it pretty much. I honestly spent a few hours typing this all out. xD (Didn't help that I was watching the one hour episode of Grimm lol.) My fingers don't hurt but they definitely slowed down compared to when I started.
Well, that was a gist of the week. Hopefully I'll be more up-to-date with the posts so they don't turn out as long as this haha.
